The Virginia

Dance Festival

2020 Event Posponed Due to Coronavirus Concerns

Since it was founded in 1999, The Virginia Dance Festival has brought together dance organizations throughout Virginia to showcase their unique dance styles and talents. In that time, it has generated over $214,500 for Children’s Hospital Foundation through performances, ticket sales, generous sponsors and silent auction donations.

With your donation, your organization will have the opportunity to be listed in the event program, advertised on this website and social media, and invited to attend this year’s performances. Your support will go to help the more than 60,000 children that are served each year at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU.

The Virginia Dance Festival will be postponed in light ofCoronavirus concerns. You can still support the Children's Hospital Foundation by purchasing a VDF t-shirt here.

About Our Cause

Children's Hospital Foundation works in support of the region’s only full-service children’s hospital, Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU, and the nearly 60,000 children it serves each year. Based in Richmond, Virginia, Children's Hospital Foundation has been dedicated for more than 95 years to fund and advocate for pediatric initiatives that improve the status of health care and quality of life for children. We believe there is no greater cause than taking care of the health care needs of children.
